{"id":4339,"date":"2025-11-04T09:26:52","date_gmt":"2025-11-04T09:26:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ttrk.tln.edu.ee\/2025\/11\/04\/green-technologies-in-practice\/"},"modified":"2025-11-04T09:36:30","modified_gmt":"2025-11-04T09:36:30","slug":"green-technologies-in-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ttrk.tln.edu.ee\/en\/2025\/11\/04\/green-technologies-in-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"GREEN TECHNOLOGIES IN PRACTICE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the course on ecology and green technologies, students visited Lindstr\u00f6m, one of Europe&#8217;s leading textile service providers with over 170 years of experience.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were warmly welcomed &#8211; snacks had been prepared for the children to make the lecture more fun and interesting. After the introductory part, there was a tour of the factory. We were shown how textiles from hotels, for example, are used and cleaned, sorted, washed, dyed and sent back to customers.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was particularly interesting to see the company&#8217;s state-of-the-art water treatment system, which allows the use of already purified water in the washing process. As a result, water consumption is minimised and the environmental impact is significantly reduced. Such a system is unique in Estonia.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our students were the first to visit the company for a learning experience.
