OPENING OF THE FIRST CLASSES

Tallinn Tõnismäe Reaalkool admits persons whose residential address according to the population register is Tallinn.

2026/2027 academic year the school will open 3 first classes:

• two 1st grades with supra-national composition: one where Estonian is taught as a mother tongue, and the other where Estonian is taught as a second language.
• one first class in the place of residence.

Admission to classes with supra-national enrolment.
Interviews and practical work for children in pre-primary school between 02.February – 06.February 2026. during lessons.

When registering, please indicate whether you choose a class where Estonian is taught as a mother tongue or as a second language. Registration of children for testing will take place between 7.January – 25.January 2026. Registration closes 25.January 2026 at 23.59.

For non-preschool pupils children will be tested both in classes where Estonian is taught as a mother tongue and in classes where Estonian is taught as a second language, on Saturday, 7 February, 2026.a at 10.00. Registration (for children not attending pre-primary school) for the interview and practical work will take place between 7 January – 5 February 2026.

The decision on the admission of applications will be notified by e-mail to the School no later than. 17 February 2026.
Once the parent has received notification of the admission of the child to the school list,
he or she shall submit to the school an application for the child’s enrolment no later than 20 February 2026.
The school shall forward the list of admission electronically to the Tallinn Education Authority no later than 25 February 2026.

Admission to the 1st class in the place of residence.

Applications for the school of residence can be submitted between 1 and 15 March.

Applications can be submitted from 1 March via eSchool.
